Welcome to Helping-Hand.uk

Here to make life a little easier, whether it’s a small job around the home, a regular visit for company, or simply someone you can rely on for practical help, Helping-Hand.uk is about trust, friendliness, and peace of mind.

My Story

After a family member became unwell, I saw first-hand how even the simplest things like getting to the shops or having a chat with someone could become difficult. I also saw how easily loneliness and isolation can creep in when support isn’t readily available.

I grew up in Newton-le-Willows and moved to St Helens in 2000, I’ve lived in the borough all my life and know the local area inside out. With a background as a qualified electrician, a career in estate management, and over 20 years of experience raising children with additional needs, I know first-hand what it feels like to need support and not have anyone to call.

Helping-Hand.uk was created to offer trustworthy, friendly support for everyday life, from running errands to regular visits that ease loneliness. My long-term vision is to create systems that help as many people as possible, one small act of support at a time.
